PET and PTI preparation
PET (Physical Education Teacher) and PTI (Physical Training Instructor) recruitments are notification-specific. Running 800 metres in 2:40 might be required in one advertisement and not mentioned in another. Print the current advertisement and train to that table.
Pages on this site

Written syllabus that usually overlaps PE degrees
- History and foundations of PE
- Anatomy, physiology, kinesiology at school-teacher depth
- Sports training and periodisation in simple language
- Officiating, organisation of intramurals
- Yoga and health education
- Rules of major school games at “explain to a class” level
Physical events — do not invent a battery
Until the advertisement is out, maintain general PE fitness: a sprint, a middle-distance run, a jump and a throw. The day the PDF is published, switch to those distances and those qualifying times. Injuries from copying a YouTube “PTI PET” video that does not match your notification are common.
Use CBSE unit notes as a revision spine, then add the state textbook or degree notes named in the advertisement.
